I was 14 when I first met photography. Although it was quite long ago, I still remember the romance of the darkroom with the red light, the rattling of the film developing tanks, the smell of fixer and the cracking of the photographs, as they were drying in the press. Of course, there were dark periods during which the camera and all of the equipment were gathering dust in the closet, and they were long. But what's most important to me is that I managed to preserve my passion for photography throughout time. Even today, in the age of digital photography, when everybody is wearing a camera (as well as pants), I still believe that I haven’t taken my best photos yet.
My works have been exhibited in over 60 international and national photography contests, celebrated in 28 countries on 6 continents and have won more than 50 prizes.
In August 2016 I was awarded with the AFIAP (Atrist FIAP) distinction by the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP).
In May 2018 I was Awarded by the mayor of the city Burgas – Mr.Dimitar Niklolov with a plaque of St. Nicholas and a diploma, like one of the most famous artists of Burgas in the eve of 24th May, the day of the Bulgarian and culture.
In December 2018 I was awarded with the EFIAP (Excellence FIAP) distinction by the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP).
