I am a 74 year old retired engineer. I started in photography in 1960 with a Kodak Retina IIc and regret ever selling it as it produced great images with its small 50 2.8 lens and Tri x film. My favorite subjects are flowers, wild life, and landscape. I have done a number of slide presentations, brochures, product photos and posters for former employers (salary):-(. I have also sold a number of prints up to 30X40 inches from 35 mm on Velvia 50. I like to think of myself as an advanced amateur. I had been so busy before retirement that I have missed a number of years doing the thing that I love best, photography. The camera equipment that I enjoy using most is a Nikon F4, D200, D700 and large format. I love the way a 4X5 transparency of Velvia looks on the light table and I am looking forward to the reintroduced Velvia 50. I am a firm believer in the old saying f8 and be there. Early morning is my favorite time of the day, so fresh and invigorating. Sometimes moving just inches makes or breaks an image and timing is crucial. Will
